Hello. Saturday was our last day in the Netherlands. All of us bought some souvenirs and food and we said "Goodbye Holland. Thank you very much for this week!". In the evening of Saturday we got to the airport Schiphol and said goodbye to our Dutch friends. It was very sad to leave as each of us became part of a large Russian-Dutch family. The girls were crying, the boys calmed them down. And each of us understood that maybe we will never see each other again, we will not talk, we will not laugh together. This was the saddest feeling. After parting we got to Moscow by plane and then moved to the bus, which was waiting for us at the airport and drove home to Yaroslavl.

Friday the 13th

Hey, today was not such a bad day for Friday the 13th.
In the morning we made a newspaper: we were divided into several teams and we wrote about the differences in food, sport, culture, and everyday life between Russia and Holland.
The winners were treated with a cake.
After that, we had a lot of time before the party, in which we had to bring food, and we split up. Some walked in the center of Almere or in the park, some were at the zoo. A lot of people cooked for the party themselves. It was a party for the whole family. We danced Russian folk dance and everyone really liked it. After the parents left, a disco began.

Enkhuizen
I was really deligted by the idea of seeing the
Enkhuizen. The architectural style of the TV tower is something extraordinary. The view of such building in deep fog made the moment when we had a chance to admire it's sight thrilling.
The next part of our trip was short boat trip. The vievs of the coastal part were really amazing. there was a great amount of seaboarts there I have never seen so much ships. It is the part of Dutch traditional life.

In the morning we went to school at 8:30. We had different workshops: music, art, science, street dance and dutch language🇳🇱 It was hard, but really interesting!

In free time we rode to the city shop center. It’s outdoors, big and modern! We had a lunch in cafe and after it we were buying some souvenirs. Near shopping center we were sitting on the embankment, feeding ducks and enjoying the view.

In the end of the day we were sitting around the fire, singing songs and talking with each others. It was really great day!

Amsterdam
Today we want to tell you about our third full day in the Netherlands.
In the morning we went to school, where we waited for the bus. Together with a group of Spaniards and our partners, we went to Amsterdam. There we were divided into groups and our group went to the van Gogh Museum. This is a very large building consisting of three floors of paintings by the great artist. The guys from Russia were on tour with English speaking tour guide and Dutch students were on tour in the Dutch language. We learned the life story of Vincent van Gogh and learned how you can quickly and easily describe the picture in its colors. The museum tour lasted an hour and then we went to the square, which was near the museum. This is amazing place for the  photos.
In free  time, the guys drove us to the shops, where we could buy souvenirs. For example: traditional waffles, magnets and key holders with symbols of the Netherlands and etc.
After free time we had a boat excursion through the canals of Amsterdam. It was really cool! Being on board the boat, we could see the picturesque views of the parks of Amsterdam, the magnificent architecture of the buildings and feel the cool wind.
During the tour, the guide told interesting facts about the buildings and the city. We had a great rest and made a lot of photos.

Survival

Today we had a very busy day, After the lunch we drove with the group to "Survival". We were really exited about what would  happen and what we were going to do. Some students wanted to paticipate, others didn't, but everyone got a lot of emotions... We arrived to Survival about 13.30 o'clock with two other groups: Spanish and Chinies, then we divided into 4 teams and started "to survive".
We passed obstacle course of different complexity, crawled through the sand and mud, ran, jumped, shot from the bow, and almost everyone tried to jump from the bungee. We've got unforgettable experience and emotions from this beautiful day!!!

My first day in holland
We'd like to tell you about our first full day in the Netherlands. It started at 10 am so we've got enough sleep after our long trip. The breakfast in Dutch family was satisfying: cheese, lots of jam, different kind of bread and fried eggs.
After our breakfast we  decided to visit the beach that is about 1 hour of driving from Almere. We were sitting at the back seats of dad's car and admiring the beauty of typical Dutch houses. As we were getting closer to our destination the weather became to change and it started to rain a little bit but when we arrived there the sun came up. Obviously, the sea was very cold so we were just wandering around the seashore. It was dinner time so we went to a cafe where we tried something "Typical Dutch".
We continued our acquaintance with this country by visiting The Garden of Tulips.
We didn't know that there is so many different  types of tulips!
We thought that this perfect day can be finished with something also typical Dutch so we decided to take our bikes and visit the center of Almere. It was a little hard to remember all the rules at the streets but we think that we will get used to it soon!
